I completed my BACP and UKCP accredited training at WPF Counselling and Psychotherapy, which is recognised as a leading training organisation in the UK, with the highest standard of excellence in both academic and clinical training.I hold the WPF Qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy as well as the WPF Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Studies from Roehampton University. Previously, I received a MA in English Literature from University of London.
I am a full professional member of The Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC). The FPC is a professional body with a strict code of ethics and a complaints procedure, ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality and professional practice.
I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychtherapy (UKCP) and am a professional member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). These organisations are the largest professional bodies for counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK and ensure that all its members are appropriately trained and qualified.
In addition to my clinical practice I have done counselling and assessment work for a national employee assistance programme provider.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I had a successful career as a senior manager in a high-pressured creative industry and am well aware of the strains and stresses of working life.
